These watercolours are my travelling journal through India. A fascinating country that you either love or hate. Always noise, always movement, full of colours and human contrast.
I travelled twice respectively for 6 months and one month. We mainly avoided the too confronting cities to discover the countryside. We also decided to go slowly and not see "everything" to have the opportunity to stay longer to mingle with the places and get to know a little better the people and their culture. I loved it even though it was hard. I tried to capture my feelings in these works.
As an Italian poet told us in a rickshaw we were sharing : " L'Inde, c'est une alternence d'enfer et de paradis" (India alternates hell and paradise).
