CAPE VERDES - Santo Antão
Santo Antão was a real discovery.
The topography plunges you in another world with its carved peaks separating canyons.
From dry and red you come into green and humid. Seeing so much vegetation and water was a welcome change after spending a long time in desert landscapes.
I felt attracted to these landscapes. At the same time there is so much information that it took me time to find a balance between the many details characterising these rough mountains.
I took it as an opportunity to explore different ways to convey my feelings, and a more abstract technique emerged.
